• Mechanical design and analysis of electronics housings, instruments and support equipment to be used on NASA satellite missions using Pro Engineer & Inventor. • Manage and modify project documents and assemblies part number structures per the UI spaceflight hardware process development plans. • Maintain configuration control of project documentation, engineering change orders (ECO)) and mechanical design releases. • Provide intercommunication and assistance with other technical disciplines with the transfer of data and documents to support the build and manufacturing of mechanical and electromechanically assemblies. • Support Quality Assurance (QA) documentation and approval processes for engineering change orders (ECO). • Participate in project design reviews. • Support the application and analysis of polymeric coatings. • Metrology of mechanical sub-assemblies and components using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) in conjunction with Kotem Technologies Smart Profile • Verification and validation of mechanical designs. • Assembly and testing of spaceflight mechanical hardware.
