As a junior at the University of Vermont in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, I am pursuing a degree in Community Entrepreneurship. My studies provide insight to a variety of economic theories and how it can be applied to maintaining a profitable business.
With aspirations to open my own business, I continuously aim to enhance skills pertaining to financing, marketing, and computer programming. Engaging and excelling within the classroom allows me to build this foundational knowledge to be a successful entrepreneur. My eagerness to learn however, goes far beyond the classroom.
Through being affiliated with a fraternity and earning the position of treasurer, it rewards me with financial experience in properly budgeting and allocating funds. Providing crucial advice in organizing large fraternal events, I ensure that expenses do not exceed the budget. Effective communication in this regard is a key factor I regularly practice through my work experiences of being a basketball coach, camp counselor, and a customer service specialist.
When not hard at work, you will likely find me skiing on the slopes of Vermont.
