Elizabeth Gargone

I am currently a senior at Nichols College working towards achieving my Bachelor of Science Business Administration. I am a Hospitality major and a Psychology minor. I plan to concentrate on event planning, in hopes that one day I become a successful event planner of a high end social event planning business and to work my way up to management. I was steered towards become an event planner because I have a passion to give people an incomparable experience with an enjoyable outcome that they are pleased with leaving them with less stress. I have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively making it easier for my customers to express their desired event giving me the best understanding, which will enable me to make it happen. I works very well with other which also enables me to communicate questions and tasks to fellow co workers, customers, or bosses. I am well-rounded, open minded, and accepting to new ideas. This will help me in the event planning industry because I need to be open to all ideas and take into consideration what the customers needs combined with my professional input. I works diligently and efficiently to ensure every task that is assigned to me gets completed. I am able to put aside personal issues to complete any task, in other worlds, I do not let my emotions get in the way of my work. This is crucial because event planning can be a stressful time, especially for the host, and the planner must remain calm and professional. I put all I can into every duty or assignment given to me. I have the passion and desire to become an event planner and the strive and ambition to make it all happen.
