Ellen Rydell
My name is Ellen Rydell and I am a third year Business Administration Management major with an emphasis in Human Resources. I attend San Diego State University, where I have truly utilized the countless resources this amazing school has to offer. Through leadership positions, volunteer opportunities, and being an active member in many organizations I have developed a empathetic, hard-working, positive attitude that will carry me throughout my professional journey. I believe there is no substitution for hard work and anyone can achieve anything as long as they set their mind to it. I am always looking at the glass half full and having impactful, genuine relationships with people is what I strive to obtain.
I currently hold a position as the Aztec Student Union Board Commissioner where I promote the mission of the Aztec Student Union Board which is to to enrich campus life, unite the university campus, and cultivate a unique collegiate experience that instills Aztec pride through cultural, educational, and social programs of the Aztec Student Union for San Diego State University (SDSU) students. I make sure that the board is running together as a whole and that everyone of the chairs, programming assistants, executive team members and students at large feel safe and supported. I help make the ideas and dreams of the student body come to life on campus, specifically in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.
