Leads Georgia's third largest military, or civilian, bomb disposal unit and its 21 personnel in rendering safe and eliminating aircraft explosive hazards, unexploded ordnance, and improvised explosive devices on Moody Air Force Base and throughout the South Georgia and North Florida region. Senior Advisor to the 23d Wing Commander and executive staff on EOD operations. Manages unit’s $2 million annual budget while directing an average of 20 emergency responses a year and overseeing ordnance removal operations from 106,000 acres of bombing ranges. • Three-time awarded Outstanding EOD Flight Award for the region besting 12 competitors. • Achieved Master EOD Technician rating

Master EOD Technician at United States Air Force
Deployed seven times to overseas combat operations in various countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates. • Trained and mentored 100-man Iraqi Army bomb disposal unit while leading the unit on over 80 combat missions over a 6-month period. • Hosted a US Air Force and United Arab Emirates medical partnership voicing the treatment needs of overseas Airmen. Hospital Administrator recognized effort as “instrumental” to 3,500 Airmen receiving a higher-level of care. Twice awarded the Bronze Star Medal as well awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), the Air Force Commendation Medal for Valor (three additional awards for outstanding and meritorious service), and the Air Force Achievement Medal.
