I am a junior at the University of Iowa, beginning to consider graduate schools and possible jobs in industry. As an Astronomy and Physics major, my primary field of interest is in astronomical instrumentation. Instrumentation lies at the intersection of astronomy, physics, and engineering, and by focusing my energy on designing and constructing the best tools, I can help others answer the biggest questions. I am taking coursework in electronics and instrumentation, and am working on projects involving Python programming, statistical analysis, radio data analysis, circuit design, 3D printing, and optical design.
