Gaurav Asthana

I am a prolific engineer who believes in challenging the status quo with everything that I set my mind to. As a passionate designer, I pride myself in the ability to create a symbiotic relationship between open ended innovation and structured pragmatism. I have a strong passion for 3D modeling and Finite Element Analysis and am proficient at doing this with a variety of CAD softwares such as Solid Works, NX and Pro Engineer (CREO). Further, I have a deep interest in systems automation and I cherish working with software to solve real world problems. As a senior studying Mechanical Engineering, I have had the opportunity of applying my acquired academic skills working at FloDesign Sonics while further improving my skills in the fields of CAD and FEA. I have performed a significant amount of hands on testing which has helped to further enhance my problem solving skills. I am currently seeking a full time opportunity starting February 2017 at a company that values outside the box thinking and working on the edge of the impossible. Having lived in a multi-faceted society, I have mastered the valuable skill of adapting to wide-ranging environments. My adaptability marries with my desire to be a global citizen.
