My goal is to develop a career that represents a vigilant effort of sustainable and ethical living. Through the power of my fashion education, global experience, and hands on work, I aspire to create a platform for a more mindful, luxurious, and conscious way of living through companies or freelance work.
I am pursuing a bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Fashion Media and sustainability concentration at Kent State University. Previously studied abroad in Florence, Italy where I applied my skills on a global platform and grew my passion for the future of the industry. Attended Premiere Vision in Paris, a sustainability lecture at the London College of the Arts lead by the business and research assistant at the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, Alex McIntosh, and worked closely with global industry veterans. Traveling around Europe for inspiration, opportunities, and growth was a dream that became a well-earned reality. Last spring, 2016, I was a full time student at Kent State's New York City Fashion Studio. I also worked closely with fashion publishing industry icon, Kate Moodie, and her online editorial, Mood of Living (internship). I plan to graduate, on track, in May of 2017.
I believe a healthy, balanced, and humble living can successfully carry one throughout life. I am dedicated to providing peers the confidence that I am a dependable source of information, work, and communication. I plan to change the world doing what I love; executing my skills as a fashion merchandising major through effective media and my dedication towards sustainability.
