I have worked in mass communication for 16 years and have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Communications, with an emphasis on Organizational Communications. I also have a Master of Science Degree in Communication with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication. As a chief, public affairs specialist, I have: written numerous articles for military and civilian publications; designed, edited, and managed two military publications; trained and worked with advanced photography and video equipment; assisted in the management of the Army Reserves Web site; worked in community relations; written proposals for the implementation of new Army Reserve public affairs concepts; escorted media; recruited personnel for Army Reserve public affairs; supervised numerous personnel; and assisted in conflict management in various organizations. I have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 5 software. I have also worked as a Military Congressional Liaison for a member of Congress. Presently Im working as the public affairs advisor to the command sergeant major of the U.S. Army Reserve.

Serves as the Public Affairs Advisor to the Command Sergeant Major of the Army Reserve, the most senior enlisted service member in the Army Reserve, and performs the following duties: provides daily Public Affairs advice and support; plans and supervises all external and internal media coverage; manages all daily public affairs activities; maintains liaison and coordinates all internal and external media engagements; develops key themes and messages for all media engagements; provides media training and preparation for all media engagements; coordinates and manages all community outreach engagements; serves as primary release authority for all imagery and print products; serves as lead coordinator for all social media engagements; researches and writes speeches and media responses; writes all articles for publication; coordinates command information video production scripts; manages social media accounts; provides on-scene PA assessments of media activities.
