Grant Ng

Pratt Institute
From Brooklyn, NY
I am currently attending Pratt Institute and enrolled in a two-year program focusing on game design and interactive media. My skills and experience have improved in multiple digital programs. I have over five years of experience within the psychology field and in the field of working with children that have autism. I am mostly familiar with the business side of psychology, where I had to work for a company and manage multiple responsibilities. At the company, I worked with fellow Behavior Clinicians and was trained in the ABA (applied behavior analysis) process for children with autism. I was responsible for the childs learning progress report and behavioral tracking records. I was given the responsibility of helping the child reach their mental potential and elicit targeted behaviors. I have been drawing and sketching as a side hobby since I was young and never had the chance to pursue it professionally. I have been questioning my future in psychology for a while and was not sure if grad school for psychology would be my passion. After much consideration, I feel that art and animation have become a major part of my life where my passion for animation will help me thrive in any environment that is related to the field.
