Hibatullah Attia

As a Public Relations student, my goal is to graduate with Public Relations at the end of the Summer semester of 2015. After my experience with Public Relations, Communications, Broadcasting and media in my past college years, I am very passionate about either working in a Public Relations firm, Consulting, Marketing and sales or being a business owner in my near future. Also, given my internship experience in Egyptian Americans for Democracy and Human Rights, I can comfortably work for a non-profit organizations, human rights organizations, do research on political and democratic status for Middle Eastern countries, and possibly other third world countries. After earning my bachelor degree in PR, I am looking into pursuing my graduate studies with a Master degree in Public Relations and possibly MBA. My soft/transferable skills include the ability to verbally communicate with persons inside and outside the organization/workplace, ability to work in a team structure, to make decisions and solve problems, plan, organize and prioritize work, obtain and process information, technical knowledge related to the job, ability to sell or influence others, and lastly, proficiency with computer software programs. My personality traits include, being optimistic, adventurous, organized, and open-Minded. My type of work style tends to be different than many others. I am a very social person, I love to interact with groups, and lastly, I like my work to be organized. Regarding my decision-making style, I think deeply before making a decision, I am behavioral, and conceptual. As human nature, we all have strengths and weaknesses. My strengths consist of being a social person, I love to interact with all kinds of people, I am open-minded, and organized. My weaknesses include, always trying to aim too high to the point where I overwhelm myself. Lastly, there are many things I enjoy doing, which include, public speaking, learning new things, and interacting with different people.
