Computationally investigating the gp120 protomer in HIV to elucidate dynamical behavior that contributes to druggability in multiple viral strains. Conducting extensive molecular docking studies on an anti-HIV lead drug, a precisely alternating copolymer, to uncover its mechanism and suggest improvements to increase activity.

Synthesized and characterized polyethylene glycol linker molecules for applications in nanoparticle drug delivery. Separated and synthesized organic polymers occurs through column chromatography, and polymers are characterized by TLC, NMR, and mass spec. Additionally, I synthesized several naturally derived anti-inflammatory compounds for testing at VBI; these novel drugs have potential applications in cancer therapeutics.
