Liam Edwards

I was raised here in Vermont, only 10 miles down the road from Castleton University. I have traveled to several great places such as, Italy, France, Switzerland, Jamaica, California, Nevada, Oklahoma, Colorado, Washington, Iowa, Illinois, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kansas, New Jersey, New York, Maine, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Texas, Ohio, Indiana, New Hampshire, Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Niagara Falls, Canada, but none compare to the hometown beauty of West Rutland, Vermont. Simply, I love it here, and I can pursue knowledge with the comforts of the great state of Vermont under my feet. I wish to become a teacher someday. I want to mend the tattered fabric around the foundation of the United States' education system. I wish to empower my community. I think through connecting the school and community, positive impacts will occur.
