I am interested in an internship during the summer of 2016 in the field of engineering, specifically in aeronautical or mechanical engineering. I am primarily interested in hands on work that will give me experience and knowledge of engineering outside the classroom.

• Working with a PhD student on active flow control research proprietary to Boeing. • Fabricating synthetic jet (zero net mass flux) actuators using piezoelectric materials. • Regulating the processes used to fabricate the actuators by using LabVIEW. • Using Siemens NX to modify models of the clamps and brackets used in the actuators. • Evaluating the disks according to electrical properties, and examining them for structural flaws. • Analyzing the aerodynamic performance of the jets via Constant Temperature Hotwire Anemometry.
