The shining knight you once knew, his armour is dented and rusty and any squires he ever has had have long since quit for lack of pay. History since High School: After graduating Worthington High School (91) I went to college for a year at the University of Toledo. A lack of maturity had me leave college for a well paying job in the U.S. Army as an AH-64A Apache Armament Systems Repairer. After initial training at Ft. Sill, OK and Ft. Eustis, VA I went to my first duty station at Ft. Hood, TX. I spent 3 years there and met my lovely wife, Danette, while stationed there. My oldest daughter was born there as well. From there I went to Korea for a year (3/6 Cavalry Regiment Heavy Cav! still the best unit Ive been with!). After Korea we went to Germany for 3 years where we added another daughter to our family. From there I went to Ft. Campbell, KY. As a member of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) I have participated in the invasions of both Afghanistan and Iraq. After Iraq my wife and I added our youngest daughter. I went back to Iraq from 2005 2006. After this tour I spent some time at Ft. Eustis for training on D model Apaches and went from there to Korea (again). After a year in Korea I returned to Ft. Campbell in time for another rotation to Afghanistan. I returned home in late 2009. After a final rotation to Afghanistan (2011-2012), I retired from the Army 30 June 2014. I started work and training as a Non-Destructive Testing Technician at PTC Seamless in Hopkinsville, KY. 24 February, 2015 I, along with all of the other floor workers, was laid off. The next day I made my way to Austin Peay State University to sign up for classes. At the time of this writing (31 October, 2015) I am a student, majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology and looking to get an Associates Degree in Mechatronics along the way.
