I started at Fred Martin as a cashier and phone operator. Very large amounts of money had to be processed everyday and trusted with me. Customer service was also a big part of cashiering. From customers with repair orders, down payments from new car owners, and/or a finance adviser, the position allowed me to gain customer service experience. As a phone operator, I had to memorize over fifty phone extensions and direct the incoming customer calls and or in office calls to the designated phone extension.

Working at Occasion's was my first job while I was still in high school. I started as a server on the weekends. Minor setup, serving the guests dinner, cleaning the tables, and ensure the guests were having a joyous time. When I had established myself as a valued employee, I was trusted with the "head table". The "head table" is front and center with the newlyweds and the bridal party. When assigned to this important position, it is the only table charged to that server in order to accommodate the lucky couple with all their needs. After I had worked for a year, I was sanctioned to participate and later head the "roll over" team. This team would encompass the brides vision and organize the floor plan, arrange the decorations accordingly, and add the finishing touches to the ambiance. I really enjoyed this profession.
