I received this award for my outstanding leadership abilities and dedication to my school work as well as the various clubs that I participated in. I was apart of JROTC where I held the position as Vice Corps Commander, Student Council where I was Student Body President, National Honors Society where I held the position of treasure, Beta Club participant, Chorus participant, and Exchange Club.

Freshman Leadership Experience
Being apart of FLEX I was able to adapt to the college life easier. Also I enhanced my leadership skills by participating in the Jefferson Awards Foundation Conference. I was one of the conductors in the workshops where I lead the students in games and went over what they had learned throughout the day.

Being in Student Council allowed me to not only grow as a person but also to enhance my leadership skills. I learned how to deal with time management when it came to having my priorities straight. Chorus
Singing is something that I've always loved to do. Being in chorus in high school pushed me to my limits. Even though I knew how to sing before I got in chorus, I had to learn to adapt to my peers around be. It was no longer a one man show, it was the choir as a whole.

Working at a fast pace restaurant teaches you how to cooperate with people on a day to day basis. Everyday is not the same because you never know who could be your customer. Not only does this job teach you how to cooperate with customers but also how to manage stress. Sometimes this job can be hectic, therefore learning how to control the situation calmly is a necessity.
