Julia DiBenedetto

I am a recent Miami University graduate with a major in strategic communications and minor in marketing. I am currently seeking full-time employment in public relations, marketing, sales, or the event planning industry in the Washington DC or Chicago area. Through my prior experiences, I have had the opportunity to develop valuable public relations, marketing and event planning skills. As an intern in public relations, marketing and event departments, I have taken on social media accounts, created email and direct mail promotional campaigns and assisted event management teams for corporate and entertainment driven events. My experience with event planning and management has enabled me to problem solve and think quickly in critical situations in order to determine the best solution. Organization and interpersonal communication skills have always been strengths of mine. I am proficient in SalesForce and utilized the software to generate pricing quotes and contracts to clients. I have also had the opportunity to work within a niche product market and use my knowledge to strategically market the product. I am not afraid to take initiative and tasks are always finished at a quality that exceeds the expectations of my employers. I look forward to furthering my knowledge and continuing to improve my skills and abilities in public relations, marketing and event planning.
