Juliana Lockwood

Majored in Psychology And Spanish
University of San Diego, Class of 2015
From Poway, CA
I am passionate about learning and languages, striving to become a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As a graduate from the University of San Diego who double majored in Psychology and Spanish, my plan is to obtain my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University. As I wish to be immersed in the Spanish language, this graduate program will allow me to complete my practicum hours with Spanish speaking families along with a bilingual supervisor. I had the wonderful opportunity to job shadow a Social Worker my senior year in high school and continued to be supervised by a licensed psychologist at the University of San Diego while serving as a Peer Coach in the Center for Student Success. I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain immersing myself in the Spanish language where I developed a passionate interest for the culture and language. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss job opportunities, culture or travel. I am always looking for an opportunity to practice my Spanish as well.
