Server at City Sports Grille
I began working for the Academic Success Center in the Fall of 2015 as a specialist, primarily working with peers who struggle in courses pertaining to Psychology and Social Work. Students are able to sign up for meetings with me through our online database. We are then able to meet at the facility and collaborate for an allotted amount of time in order to determine methods of studying and learning that will help foster a stronger understanding of course materials. The ASC provides me with a variety of technological tools, ranging from MacBook computers to Smart Boards, and I utilize these tools to the benefit of struggling students. My position as an Academic Specialist encourages social and interactive abilities, and allows my peers and I to grow intellectually as a team.

Sales Associate at Seybridge Pharmacy Jewelry & Gifts
I have worked for Seybridge for more than three years. As a Sales Associate, I complete monetary/debit/credit/check transactions on a QS1/POS system and work with people of various ages and social/ethnic backgrounds in order to provide optimum assistance with both medical and gift shop needs; I am constantly interacting with all kinds of public individuals and have learned how to communicate in the most efficient and interpersonal manner. In order to be prepared for many situations with many different people, I must keep an open mind and focus my attention on both the customer and the business itself. I must uphold store values and policies, while also creating an environment that is comfortable and inviting to patients and customers of both the pharmacy and gift shop. As of recently, I also work with technology in the store. My duties here include pay roll, management of all social media, run a functional website, collect store inventories, and maintain QS1 and POS systems through Health Mart and McKesson updates and downloads. Not only this, but it is my duty to represent the stores online presence, responding to customer complaints, recommendations, and comments regarding store inventory and experiences with staff. It is important that I emphasize my constant use of platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest for professional purposes, as well as weebly.com for the creation of a functional store website. Even more, I am often using Microsoft Word and Excel to create documents and edit photos for various store purposes. I have also organized and run promotional events for Seybridge, including Seymour Founder's Day, where I am given the opportunity to advertise what the store has to offer to the public.
