Student Senate Senior Scholarship Award-Needed to fill out an application and write an essay explaining my contributions to NHTI's student life as well as my academic achievements. I also needed to have one letter of recommendation as well. I wish I could attach my letter of recommendation and the letter from Student Senate congratulating me on being one of the two receiving the scholarship, they both were amazing.

Jessica Vintinner-Robinson was recognized for being a member of who's who
Zech DeVits Human Service Recognition Award-giving to a Human Service and Addiction Counseling Degree student who volunteers their time helping others in the community. Zech DeVit was a Human Service student who loved to help others in the community at NHTI. When Zech passed away, two weeks before he was to graduate the college came together with and created this award to go to someone who gives back to the community of NHTI like Zech did.

Social Science Club
Our club is all about helping others in our community. We made cards for the children in Bosten who were sick. We also make sure a local family homeless shelter had gifts for the entire family for Christmas. Our club also helped students on campus that are in crisis.

Trauma Intervention Volunteer/Victim Advocate at VICTIMS,INC.
VICTIMS,INC., is a private, non-profit agency that trains Trauma Intervention Volunteers to be on call 24 hours each day to assist victims and families in Stafford and Rockingham Counties. We respond to pages from police, fire and emergency medical personnel. We meet families at hospitals, at scenes and in their homes. We respond to serious injury and fatal crashes, fires, robberies, missing persons, suicides, drowning, and other untimely deaths. They offer comfort, compassion, information, and referrals. Victim Advocate: I accompany families through the court process, as they attend hearings, trials, sentencings, and other legal proceedings. We're with the families for at least two years through the legal system. I just finished my first homicide case as a Victim Advocate. The office of the Grafton County Attorney ask Victims, Inc to get involved with a case.We followed the family through the whole legal process.
Our mission is to complete the circle of services for victims, from the onset of trauma through healing. All services are free.
