Kayla Clark

Majoring in Nursing, Minoring in Health Science
Austin Peay State University, Class of 2020
From Cedar Hill, TN
I was born in a small town (Adams, TN), and moved to an even smaller town (Cedar Hill) at the age of seven. I have one little brother who is currently in middle school at Jo Byrns High School. I went to Jo Byrns all thirteen years and graduated in 2016. I'm currently a freshman at APSU and plan on getting my BSN, then starting a career as a registered nurse (RN). I am currently enrolled in the Allied Health and Nursing Students Mentoring Program. I also love to play soccer and exercise, as well as sketch and paint on the side. I believe that creativity and expressionism helps people focus easier, and gets rid of distracting thoughts when needed.

Lady Jackets Soccer team
Since Jo Byrns High School did/does not have a soccer team of any kind, I tried out and made the Springfield Lady Jackets soccer team in the spring of 2012, before my freshman year of high school began. I continued to play throughout my high school career, making the Robertson County All-County soccer team sophomore-senior year.
