Society of Manufacturing Engineers RIT Student chapter
Team SpecialistSME is a national professional society that strives to promote manufacturing. The RIT chapter of SME strives to promote manufacturing through the building of professional relationships and positive interactions in the surrounding communities.
This year our team has striven to create stronger ties with the RIT community as well as build a manufacturing cell that focuses on various STEM related disciplines. The cell is a prototype that has been designed to be modular, for easy operation and transport.
The dream is to someday have this simple cell be in high school technology and science classes around the country, to inspire the next generation to build the future.
As a team specialist, my responsibilities included:
-Management of Marketing, Art and Branding
-Developing relationships with sponsors in the area
-Attending networking events
-The development of a Sponsorship proposal
