As an aspiring Marketer, Im hoping I can sell you on myself. I am currently a student at Nazareth College, where Im working on preparing myself for my endeavors, both in the present and future. In less than two years time, Ive taken classes in Consumer Behavior, Market Research, Statistics, and Marketing Communications. I worked in the Nazareth College Student Development office as a student ambassador, helping my college obtain funds necessary for priorities on campus, as well as keep in touch with alumni. In addition, Ive built upon my 4 year foundation of the Spanish language by taking additional courses. My peers have always commended my ambition, and the passion I show when approaching tasks. I entered Nazareth with nearly a full year of schooling completed after taking countless Advance Placement and College-level courses before I turned 18. I played jazz guitar in High School, winning awards at the Oneida Jazz Festival; my classmates even voted me Class Musician in the yearbook. Aside from music, I also served as the Treasurer of Interact Club through the Rotary Club of Oswego, in which I managed funds and donations for local charities, as well as organized community service projects. I also organized team meetings, and introduced and ran social media pages to communicate with my peers. My experiences and interactions with the world have shaped me as a person, and given me new and necessary abilities. I can engage with people in any capacity through quick thinking and refined negotiation and communication skills. I can approach and solve problems differently than others. I never take the easy way out, and never accept the status quo. Making sure everyone is involved and actively contributing to something greater than themselves has always been my goal. Im serious about my work, but always approach it in ways that are enjoyable and rewarding. I am passionate about growing, learning, and perfecting my craft.
