Kurt Winkelmann

I am fortunate to lead dedicated and caring faculty in the Chemistry Department. They share my passion for chemistry and helping students. My research interests include chemistry and chemical education. My academic training is in physical chemistry, especially photocatalysis and nanomaterials. I also pursue projects related to understanding how students learn chemistry in the laboratory - both real world and virtual settings. I also teach nanotechnology lab and physical chemistry courses.
