New Student Enrollment Orientation Leader at University of Nebraska–Lincoln
During the Spring 2016 semester, I completed a training internship designed to enhance interpersonal and public speaking skills, to provide strong information base on the procedures of the University, and to build an effective team of orientation leaders. During the summer, I began training and working to welcome thousands of incoming students to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as they prepare for their college careers. My tenure as an NSE leader includes working the summer program, International Orientation, Big Red Welcome, January NSE, and Transfer NSE. By being an orientation leader, I am part of the recruitment efforts of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. This position challenges me to live and work with a team of roughly thirty students, develop effective communication and messaging to resonate with students and parents, represent the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, help foster an inclusive and welcoming environment, and assist in coordinating a schedule for thousands of students and parents visiting the university.

Venues & Student Programs Intern at Nebraska Alumni Association
As an intern at the Nebraska Alumni Association, I assist with a variety of tasks. My focuses are two-fold, venues and student programming. On the venues side, I deal with everything from tours, reservations, set-up, and promotion of our events and facilities. I have also managed and planned internal and external campus reunions, as well as worked to develop new advertisements and manage of online profiles. When working with student programming, I work specifically with Scarlet Guard, the University of Nebraska - Lincoln's student alumni group. I assist with coordination, planning, and development for the organization and it's events for over 1,000 student members. Beyond this, I have tapped into my public relations and promotion skills by creating content for various accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, to further engage students and customers with the Nebraska Alumni Association, its venues and its programs.
