Wild Bill's Coffee Shop
In my second semester at the University of Iowa I had the opportunity to volunteer at Wild Bill's Coffee Shop. Wild Bill's is a place that provides mentally disabled adults to have a real world working experience. My duty here was to assist them in whatever the situation and to socialize with them. This was a very positive environment that was enjoyable for anyone to be around. I volunteered a total of 20 hours.

Teens Against Human Trafficking
As a member of this group, we raised awareness of human trafficking in Iowa through events and networking. We organized a community forum and a Heels of Hope walk to spread the word. It is a live problem that has gone unnoticed for far too long and part of our duties of this group was to raise awareness. https://www.letsgetangry.org/

Dance Marathon
Dance Marathon is an organization ran by students for kids. Kids battling cancer are able to count on us for raising money and providing a positive spirit for them. This event was absolutely life changing and I cannot wait to participate in upcoming semesters. Over 2 million dollars were raised in 2016 and I am positive the number will only go up from there! FTK!

Coach at Triad Gymnastics
I have done gymnastics since I was 5 years old, so right when I turned 14 I knew I wanted to become a gymnastics coach. At the time I worked with recreational classes, building their foundations and love for the sport. Over time I have worked up to coaching the competitive team. I have so much respect of the sport and love spreading the spirit of the sport to more gymnasts. Triad Gymnastics is in my hometown, Ankeny, so I look forward to coaching when I come home over breaks or stopping by if I am only visiting.
