I spent Fall 2016 - Spring 2017 studying abroad in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. I got the chance to take a couple photography and creative writing courses while I was here, exploring the visual arts aspect of university.

Corps of Cadets

I have reached the rank of PFC in the Corps of Cadets here. I have been more of a participant than a leader thus far, but plan on heading into officer training in Fall 2017.

Track & Field

I did the Long Jump, Triple Jump, 300m Hurdles, and was on both relay teams during my time on the track team. My senior year, I was recognized for the Coaches' Award on my team and I was a State Champion for Triple Jump, also placing in the Top Five for all four of my other events. In my junior year, I went to the State Track Meet, but only placed in the Top 5 for one of my events - Long Jump. I came back my senior year to win far more.

Band

I was a clarinetist for four years before I transitioned to a percussionist position for the last two years of my time in the band. I was in both the concert band and symphonic band at times, but always was in the symphonic band after my first year.
