Ms. Kuhn offers core competencies in public administration, program and proposal management, communications and training developed from over four years of experience as a program and proposal management associate, researcher and PR assistant. She currently works for Georgia State University's Center for State and Local Finance as a Research Fellow while pursuing her Master's degree in Public Administration and conducts research on public finance, including community improvement districts (CIDs) and Georgia's tax code. Previously, she worked for the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) as an Assistant Program Manager, supporting international programs that improve local governance capacity, and for International Relief & Development as a Proposal Coordinator and Democracy, Governance and Community Development Assistant. Ms. Kuhn has assisted with the management of multiple programs, two case studies and the development of over 30 proposals. As a part-time Public Relations Assistant for the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center, she also prepared promotional materials for multicultural programming. She has traveled to Afghanistan, Turkey, Greece, South Africa, and Mexico and has studied Modern Standard Arabic and French. Ms. Kuhn is pursuing her Master's degree in Public Administration at Georgia State University's Andrew Young School of Policy Studies with a specialization in local government management and finance. She graduated summa cum laude from Hiram College, where she double-majored in International Relations and Communication. She received departmental honors in Communication and was inducted into the Communication honors society, Lamda Pi Eta, and the national leadership honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa. She has studied French, Arabic and Mandarin Chinese.
