Mary Ann Biermeier is Director of Professional Development at Pinnacle Presbyterian Preschool, a NAEYC accredited learning community. She is Director of the INSPIRE Early Childhood Leadership Series providing educator workshops and online courses in the Reggio Emilia approach. She began her teaching career in education in 2000 after a 20 year career in computer software design and development. She currently serves on the board of directors for Arizona's VSAEYC as Vice President of Professional Development. She has also served as board chair for Communities in Schools of Arizona and All Star Kids Tutoring, both Arizona non-profits serving children at risk. Mary Ann Biermeier holds a M.Ed. with distinction Northern Arizona University and a B.A. University of Minnesota. With 12 years classroom experience and over five years of working directly with teachers, Mary Ann shares the Reggio Emilia Approach progressive education in practice - with engaging stories and inspirations.

Established in 1985, Pinnacle Presbyterian Preschool is an active community of teachers and parents dedicated to raising competent, creative and caring children. Created INSPIRE Early Childhood Leadership Series - a professional development program and annual conference for early childhood educators in Greater Phoenix and the desert southwest.
