I find it difficult to answer a common question during interviews, 'What are your personal limits?'. Through the years, I have expanded and evolved, adapting to my environment and learning how best to thrive in my surroundings. During my study abroad at Korea University, I found myself constantly adapting and dealing with situations that were out of my comfort zone. I had five classes which all required group projects, and as the only foreigner in all five groups, I learnt how and when to compromise, listen to other people and effectively work with cultural differences. There are no hard limits, there are only situations I am yet to face. I am passionate about learning, communicating and effectively building relationships, especially between diverse groups. Before attending Georgia State University to earn my bachelor's degrees in Economics and Marketing, I interned at the Federal High Court in Nigeria and LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, where I acquired skills in Customer Service and People Management. I was also able to save my department money by reducing events' costs and spending 25% less than originally budgeted. I currently work as a Guest Relations Officer at Six Flags over Georgia. It is my responsibility to make sure the guest have the ultimate experience and leave with good memories. I listen to their complaints or compliments, I attend to their concerns or direct those concerns to the necessary departments, I resolve any problems and issues they have and compensate them if necessary. I interact with over 50 guests a day and my goal is to make sure they want to come back. I like interacting with people on a daily basis. I would like to work in a team or have daily interactions with people. Outside of work, my interests tend to be more solitary like reading, sewing and cooking. I am also a big supporter of causes such as Ending Human Trafficking, Educating the Girl Child and Ending Child Marriage. I can be contacted at missadefila@gmail.com
