Dr. Mark Whatley joined the Valdosta State University faculty in August 1998. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in social psychology from the University of Kentucky, as well as a Master of Art in experimental psychology with an emphasis in social psychology and Bachelor of Art in psychology, both from California State University. He holds membership in the American Psychological Society, Society for Personality and Social Psychology, Society for Southeastern Social Psychologists, and the Social Psychology Network. He previously taught at the University of Kentucky.
