Max Jenks-Gilbert, 22, is an international (BSc) Business Administration & Economics student from Wales, UK. Charismatic and driven to succeed in all aspects of life, Max has a passion for Marketing, Management, A&R, and Events Management; specifically within the Music Industry. One of the top performing business students, Max was inducted into Delta Mu Delta Business Honors Society in April 2017 and currently serves as President for the Greensboro College Journeys in Speaking Society, Vice President of the SGA Executive Board, and Team Leader of ENACTUS. Post graduation, May 2018, Max plans to find employment with a major US music/talent/events company. He also plans to further his education by gaining an MBA.

Catering Assistant at National Trust UK - Bodnant Garden

Bodnant Garden is an award-winning 80-acre botanical garden near Tal-y-Cafn, in the county borough of Conwy, Wales. It is a National Trust property, situated overlooking the Conwy Valley towards the Carneddau range of mountains. During my time here, I worked as part of the catering team. Tasks included stocktaking, handling money, providing high customer service levels, leadership, managing staff, and food preparation. I developed an understanding of consumer behaviors through daily counteraction with customers. High levels of communication and customer service were achieved and weekly revenue goals were surpassed.

Market Compliance Visitor at Serve Legal Ltd

Independently recorded key information regarding transactions. These were carried out in order to help measure company performance against age-related legislation and to help evaluate customer service. I developed my time management and general organizational skills as visits had specified deadlines and visitor reports were required to be completed accurately. I also developed an understanding of how high levels of customer service can be achieved through visiting many different company sites and observing employees whilst analyzing their performance.
