I am a recent graduate of Georgia College & State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. During my time at Georgia College I was involved in Phi Mu sorority where I held multiple leadership positions including Vice President, the College Panhellenic Council where I served as a recruitment counselor and on numerous committees, I also was selected to be a Bobcat's Abroad Ambassador after studying abroad in Paris, France for a summer. I was a student researcher for the Psychology department in Dr. Chiang's Child Development research lab. I had hands on experience working with pre-school children who were on the Autism spectrum. I also presented two paper presentations at the Southeastern Psychological Association conference in New Orleans. I have will be attending the University of Georgia beginning August 2016 as a graduate student in the Master of Social Work program with a Clinical concentration. I am passionate about helping diverse groups of people. I am particularly interested in working with adolescents and young adults, as well as families in a hospital setting.
