Melissa Barron

Alumni of Youngstown State University
I have several years of experience in the social service field. My background includes case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, long-term care and job development. I graduated with honors from Kent State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development & Family Studies: Case Management. This degree focuses on human development across the lifespan and interpersonal relationships between individuals and families. Currently, I am obtaining a Master's Degree in Social Work with a 4.0 GPA. You will find me to be goal-oriented and self-motivated, with the hope of utilizing my skills to implement treatment plans and advocate for the clients I serve. I would like to work with veteran and/or geriatric populations.
