Akron Rotary Camp is a summer camp run on the Portage Lakes by the Akron Area YMCA, offered to children and adults with physical/developmental disabilities. The nursing assistant works alongside the camp nurse, helping with medication passes five times a day, first aid, seizure protocol, diabetes maintenance, tube feeds, ambulation, and hygiene care.
