I operated the Follow Spot for the Family Performing Arts Center's production of Beauty and the Beast during their tech week as well as their performances.

Arts for Youth is a six week summer program for children 7-12 to engage in the various arts, such as Drama, Dance, Visual Arts, etc. I have had a paid internship with the program for three summers so far, interning in the following classes: - Creative Computing (students learn about the variety of programs avaliable to them on the Internet such as video game creators with Sploder, programming with Scratch, making music with Soundation, etc.) - Clay Creations (students learn methods to create pinch pot animals, coil pots, etc. using kiln fired clay and air dry clay) - Video Production (students create and develop their own movies) - Creative Columns (Arts for Youth's newspaper/creative writing class) - Masks and Mythical Creatures ( A Visual Arts class devoted entirely to creating detailed masks) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As well, I served as an Office Assistant my first two years at the program, I sorted medical records, answered phone calls, took care of sick campers as well as helped parents with questions in the afternoon.
