Work Experience

I have worked in the pet department of Country Max in Seneca Falls, NY where I have taken on the responsibility of taking care of the animals everyday needs and helping customers benefit from their trip to the store. The animals I have cared for many different types of pets everything from birds, to rodents, to snakes, lizards, and fish. I have also excelled in making sure items are put away in a decent timing on stock day when we restock shelves.

Apprentice at John's Taxidermy

When I was about 12 years old I started doing odd jobs in my father's taxidermy shop for him. Now, when I am not in school I work for him on a regular basic and have completed quite a few mounts. I have also competed with my buck that I shot, and mounted as well as with a shoulder mount of a bear in the amateur level of a taxidermy convention. I won a blue ribbon for each and was encouraged by my judges to proceed to the professional division next time. I have found this trade I have been learning to be extremely rewarding as it brings out my artistic talents.
