NAMM is the National Association of Music Merchants, an organization that works with the music products industry. Their biggest event is their trade show, which is known as The NAMM Show which is located in Anaheim, California during January. This is the world’s largest music industry trade show with over 100,000 visitors from all over the world with hundreds of exhibitors, who come to showcase their products for the year. This is a global meeting, with tons of events to expand people’s knowledge on the upcoming trends in the music industry and a chance for companies to network and connect with other companies for future business. During the show I: -Managed The NAMM Show’s Twitter and Instagram accounts to provide information to all the attendees, what, where and when different events were throughout the duration of the show as well as retweeting member companies to give them a broader reach throughout the show. -Created content to promote the numerous events to all the followers on NAMM's social media pages. -Answered questions on Twitter and in person regarding where to find different events and exhibitors booths, so that they have an easy and smooth experience at the show -Helped manage the Digital Media Center and developed relationships with the media attending the show, so that they can get their specific news stories and keep them informed of the different events that were happening during the show.
