I am currently working towards my double major of Spanish and Special Education at the Adolescent level. My dream is to have my own classroom either teaching the culture and language of Spanish, or inspiring students with disabilities to gain confidence in not only their academics but other aspects of their lives. I currently do an amazing program at Nazareth called "Life Prep@NAZ" that works with high school graduates who have disabilities and prepares them for the next stage into adulthood. I also am a member of the Division III Nazareth's Women's Lacrosse team. I am hoping to also become a certified women's lacrosse coach before I graduate college so I can coach at the modified and high school levels.

Semester Abroad - Valencia, Spain

I received the amazing opportunity to live in Valencia, Spain for a whole semester while attending the Catholic University of Valencia. I traveled all through Spain, France, and Germany. I had an internship teaching English to elementary students as well.

Work Experience

Student Mentor at LifePrep@Naz

I work with individuals with disabilities whom have graduated high school but need the extra help into transitioning to the next stage of being confident and independent into the workforce and life itself. We help them learn to pay bills, apply for jobs, cook meals, work computers, and overall show them that despite their mental or physical disability they can obtain jobs and take care of themselves. This program takes place at Nazareth College and also provides the students with a college experience that most individuals with disabilities may not ever get to experience. I am there to be a classroom aid, attend their college class with them, be there study partner, take them out of their social comfort zones, be a job coach at their internships and most importantly, to be there friend.
