Hello, my name is Nahian Chowdhury! I am currently an Accounting Intern at a local firm in Westport, while pursuing a Bachelor's of Science degree focused in Accounting with a minor in Finance from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. As an experienced bookkeeper with strong background in accountancy, my skills involve preparing financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, adjusting entries, payroll, month-end-close, write-offs and tax preparations etc. I am proficient with Microsoft Excel, and familiarizing myself with utilizing QuickBooks, Accounting CS, Real-Time Journal Entry Softwares and Pro Systems FX. In the future I would like to intern with a firm that specializes in Auditing which will allow me to see Accounting from another perspective. I am outgoing person who enjoys traveling, networking with new people and learning about different cultures. I would like to get a job that involves an extensive amount of traveling.
