My hard work and determination didn't start here in the United States. It started in a third world country when this 13 year old boy was 6,000 miles away from his parents. From 7th grade to 10th grade I lived in Cameroon, West Africa. My parents wanted me to know more about my culture. I faced many trials and tribulations but I perceived and excelled. This time in Cameroon helped me to see the world through a different perspective and made me feel extremely privileged and grateful. Ever since then I have made sure to help those who are under-privileged. As a Mechanical Engineering major I want to use my degree to concentrate in design and manufacturing. My career goals is to inspire others to study hard in school and make something great out of themselves so that anybody who is 6,000 miles away from their parents can be self motivated as I have been.
