Singular they/them pronouns, please.
I'm technically a high school dropout, though I graduated from the Hudson Valley Sudbury School
I'm hoping to go into something like pathology, diagnostics, or epidemiology. I guess my dream job would be the closest thing you can get to being House in real life, without the opiates and ruining all my personal and work relationships.
My ability to study and advance on the path I've chosen is hampered quite a bit by several mental illnesses and disabilities, notably Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder, Autism, ADHD, and Bipolar Disorder.
People say things like "the world doesn't cater to you," and of course it doesn't - if it did, everything would stay open until 3am, and people wouldn't think I'm being a class clown for asking "weird" (but entirely serious) questions during a lecture. I'm not asking for a handout. Just level footing to stand on.
My fiction has been published in the Slate Run Annual Volume 1, and an essay on autism and gender I wrote is available on the Hudson Valley Sudbury School website. I'm also a freelance artist, and my work can be seen at some point soon in several unreleased video games.
