Responsible for assisting in budget preparation, monitoring expenditures against the budget, preparing monthly statistical reports and required Federal reports, and responding to requests for information from other program managers and analysts. I also work with large datasets to extract the required information and perform complex analytical work involving the collection and evaluation of DHHS Financial data, budgetary control records, and other information concerning DHHS expenditures and revenues. My team and I serve as a liaison between programmatic and business operations of various division within DHHS and DHHS Financial and Accounting operations to improve the outcomes of the agency.

Was responsible for evaluating services, programs, and practices. Highly experienced in explanation of health insurance benefits, customer service skills, presentation skills, and development of complex calculations using Microsoft Excel.

Certified in MAGI - Modified Adjusted Gross Income for Children and Family Medicaid, TMA - Transitional Medical Assistance program, NON-MAGI - for the Aged, Blind and Disabled and CHIP - Children Health Insurance Program. Certified in N-Focus programming, Asset Verification System (AVS) and C1 Mainframe.

Worked on various client-based cases, managed day to day implementation of policies and procedures and regulations to ensure Federal and State Compliance. Communicated effectively with clients over the phone and narrated effectively what was relayed to them so the next worker is able to fully understand the case. Used computer databases to update, document, and verify client's information as well as accurately processed assigned work tasks and prepared correspondences. Followed HIPPA guidelines and kept all information confidential. Efficiently organized and completed cases in timely manner. Dealt with public and private officials such as the IRS, CFS, CSE, SSA and other officials to process cases.

Lectured 29 students by developing lesson plans, answering e-mails, and grading papers in a small group setting versus whole lecture of 150+ students.

Used my organizational skills and time management approaches to get tasks done in timely manner. Taught every class session without missing any days and always 15 minutes early to class to setup projector and class notes. Uploaded student grades into Blackboard each day and informed them on things to improve in their assignments.

Facilitated discussions on areas of course content that students found confusing or difficult. Engaged student learning with casual discussions about things they were interested in such as resumes, cover letters, linkedIn, and internships. Reviewed student resumes and made comments on what to improve. Provided UNL resources, study tools, and how to succeed in the following years in advanced courses.
