Provide hands-on, high-level IT support for GSU faculty and staff as well as specialized audio-video technology used in GSU classrooms. Responsibilities Include: • Troubleshoot a wide range of networking equipment, telephone equipment, computer hardware, software, and mobile devices. • Install, uninstall, upgrade, operate, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of specialized audio-visual equipment used in GSU classrooms. • Perform routine room checks to ensure classroom technology is operational. • Interacting with a wide variety of higher-level technical support personnel / system administrators across campus. • Assist with the upkeep of the team’s internal knowledge resources. • Work on Windows and/or Mac operating systems. • Troubleshoot commonly used desktop applications such as: Microsoft Office, IMAP Mail clients (Outlook/Outlook Express/Thunderbird/etc), Web Browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc), and Anti-Virus/ Anti-Spyware software. • Laptop/PC Repairs such as: (Virus Removal, Computer Upgrades, LCD Repair, Desktop Repair, Onsite Service, Networking, Remote Service, Data Recovery, et al)
