My Goal: My current goal is to complete my bachelor's of science in Software Engineering at R.I.T. I'd love to get my masters as well but financial terms will determine that. After I complete school I want to have a great career in software engineering preferably coding and designing entertaining software applications. I love to create software that people will enjoy to use, especially games or other applications used for entertainment, so a career involving that would be amazing! Experience: As for experience; professionally I currently work as an intern for EmergenceTek Group, non-professionally I have worked in teams on big design projects in school and on my own time. Significant Projects: - In a class I took at RIT about human-computer interaction and user experience we were tasked to create whatever application we'd like for the second half of the semester. I chose to create a mobile/web application that allowed students to easily order food from on campus dining locations. It was designed to make the process quicker than ordering in person and had emphasis on assisting deaf students to streamline the ordering process. After the prototype was complete, user evaluation showed promising results with a lot of hype being generated around the idea. - A group of three students and myself designed and developed a financial portfolio tracking application from the ground up. The project had a heavy focus on proper design principles of software engineering with the use of design patterns and typical software standards. - A group of four students and myself designed and developed a medical records web application. The site was called HealthNet and with the application, hospital staff could log on to manage appointments, patients, and general hospital records. Patients could log on to view their health records and schedule appointments, etc. On this team I was the design coordinator in charge of the application's subsystem design and overall front-end design.
