Rhonda Collins

I was accepted into the Medical Laboratory Technician Program at West Kentucky Community and Technical College which started January 13, 2014 and completion will be December 15, 2015. I am a full time student carrying a GPA of 3.85 and 100+ credit hours. I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Honors Society. I am a member of the United Methodist Women and Eddyville United Methodist Choir. I help as much as I can in my community and I'm active with many young women as a support mom. My children ALL attended or are attending college; Brittany at Delaware County Community College in Graphics Design and will be hopefully attending Drexel University soon, Courtney has her degree as a Medical Assistant and works at a wellness and weightlifting company, and Christopher was just accepted in the Marine Biology program at Hawaii Pacific University. Important qualities I possess are listening to other employees thoughts and ideas, aggressive in nature to be the best, precise with information handed, quick to learn new tasks and build on them, detailed paperwork presentations, trustworthy with sensitive materials, excellent at building relationships, and thinking outside the box at all moments, over eight years working in management positions supervising four to one hundred and forty-three employees at one time, exemplary organization skills, thrive on completing multiple tasks with priority dates in fast paced environments, excellent communication and teaching skills, high energy with determination, and training presentation development presentations. I have numerous letters of appreciation and recommendations that I have received throughout the years from "Vendor Trainer of the Year" from a huge retailer to "Employee of the Year" from a major hospital. My goals and aspirations in life: I would like to attend Cincinnati University's Medical Laboratory Science Program in May 2016. I would like to work inside a hospital full time in my community and promote the MLT Program and WKCTCS.
