During my studies and experiences at Oklahoma State University I have found my passion in the helping profession. I gained insight through subjects such as Policy Law and Advocacy and Developmental Disabilities, which helped me shape my understanding of my desire to enhance the lives of others. I intend to use my study abroad experience to emphasize my understanding of the world and our surroundings. I aspire to be a child advocate and work on the federal and international level. The knowledge I gained through living in Scotland and studying world economics abroad gave me perspective on how I want to focus not only on American policies or issues, but help to implement change that can affect lives on a international level.
My goal is to work at a non-profit helping to develop policies and procedures to enhance the lives of children and others. Ultimately I aspire to work in policy and advocacy to ensure that children can be guaranteed a bright, safe and rewarding future.
