Albany Student Television (ATV)
As a freshman, I joined the marketing division as it was being formed. I quickly became a leader in the marketing going from secretary, to marketing director, to a vice president of the organization, running the entire marketing department. I gained experience creating a marketing strategy, event planning, how to use marketing tools, and leading a team of people to one goal.

Marketing Director, Vice President at Albany Student Television
With Albany Student Television I hold the highest position in the Marketing Department. Since the marketing team's founding, I have been a present leader building the team up from a small group to a large, effective facet of this organization. I run the clubs social media pages, developed marketing campaigns, created flyers, worked with professional cameras, edited, planned meetings, and taught members how to use Photoshop, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Final Cut Pro. I have also done a lot of event planning. My sophomore year the marketing team started an annual winter charity event for Toys for Tots. Each year the event grows and we have brought in more donations for Toys for Tots. I have also planned an event completely on my own, the spring talent show. The show was broadcasted live and we divided the proceeds between the winner and the Boys and Girls club of Albany. This organization has taught me the necessary skills to be an effective marketer: to be detail -oriented, time management, goal focused, how to strategize, and how to implement a campaign. I have learned a lot from this organization and continue to hone my skill set daily with them.
