Seamus R. Murphy is a student at Ithaca College pursuing a bachelors degree in Television and Radio with a concentration in Scriptwriting. He is also the head writer / on set audio mixer for several ICTV (Ithaca College Television) shows and stand up comedian for Ithaca College Standup Club as well as Ithaca College Comedy Club. Ithaca College Standup Club recently performed at Gotham Comedy Club in Manhattan which has led to several other shows at Gotham, as well as other venues around New York City. Assist executive producers with day to day tasks. Assess query letters as well as provide script coverage. Compile lists of possible actors / actresses for purchased scripts and contact their respective agents.

Responsibilities vary from show to show. Organize writer's meetings and filter / edit content for the final script. Assign teams to write skits. Write jokes for opening monologue. Write skits based on Internet trends or current events, mix audio levels on set.
